More than expected this is in my basement perfect for the space and for short term sitting, it folds out to the size just bigger than a twin bed so don't expect a full size futon, this is more suitable for a child to sleep on, the arms shown are pillows and are not attached and in the description it outlines that.
Its the size of a small love seat so don't expect a couch size. I love it overall it's a great deal for the price, I paid $149
