Good quality for the price.
The filter has a durable rubber frame. The filter material appears to be thick cotton. The packaging mentions use with oil, but that's personal preference. In general, oiled filters trap more particles but block more airflow. This is a compromise. I'm impressed with the value for money and have always enjoyed reusing it rather than throwing it away as you're basically just picking up the dust and leaves that get through the air intake.
