A handy size 37 I bought the 36-40 inch option. I was only able to get through the loop a few inches, but not enough to get the loop back through. It was well short. I measured it and found it to be 46" including the 3" long buckle. a full inch less than the advertised 47" which should only refer to the actual length of the strap meaning it is a good four inches shorter than it should be. I returned for a refund and bought the next size up .Although the next listing was advertised as having a 40-44" waist and a 51" overall, it was again over an inch shorter than the advertised length including the buckle, but at least it fit me now. If you are at the top of one of your sizing options, choose at least two sizes up. If your waist is 39", then a 40-44" belt would not fit, ie 44-48" would be chosen. A belt that is too long can be used but too short is useless The construction seems solid The skin is good A good everyday belt if ordered correctly.
