Review on πŸ”§ πŸ’ͺ Optimizing Strength with CC3D Filament Printing Material: A Guide to Maximize Results by Demetrius Patsion

Buy 3D printing consumables from another brand

Simply the worst PLA I have (the only one I have is black). I have a Creality CR-10 Pro V2 and have tried Hatchbox filament, RoHS and a few other brands. RoHS has been the best so far, and this is the worst. Actually I'm not sure if it's PLA or epoxy. All other brands feed well, but not this one. This thread keeps getting stuck and I can't type for more than a few minutes to see it's not moving anywhere before I have to stop it. I've tried printing at 195, 205 and 215 (50 bed temp), smoothing out layers etc but it comes out in drips, makes a mess and frankly it's almost impossible to peel the plate off. I've soaked it in alcohol for several hours and despite an hour of scratching, I still can't get the last drops off. I will use power tools in the morning. I have to order a new plate or plate cover tomorrow as it will not survive the PLA removal process. I'll save the filament and use it as superglue, but I'd really try a different brand and not try to save a few bucks in the future.

Pros
  • Have higher strength and better toughness.
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks
