Disappointing Strength for Industrial Filament

Based on my observations, this filament material doesn't hold up to the standards of other industrial and scientific 3D printing supplies. While the initial prints come out okay, after a short amount of time, they lose their structural integrity and become brittle. The only pro is that it's affordable, but when it comes to quality, you get what you pay for with this product.

Pros
  • Has high strength and durability
Cons
  • Has lower flexibility compared to other filaments

Buy 3D printing consumables from another brand

Simply the worst PLA I have (the only one I have is black). I have a Creality CR-10 Pro V2 and have tried Hatchbox filament, RoHS and a few other brands. RoHS has been the best so far, and this is the worst. Actually I'm not sure if it's PLA or epoxy. All other brands feed well, but not this one. This thread keeps getting stuck and I can't type for more than a few minutes to see it's not moving anywhere before I have to stop it. I've tried printing at 195, 205 and 215 (50 bed temp), smoothing…

Pros
  • Have higher strength and better toughness.
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks

Good polylactide for 3D printing. Thread

The price for the print quality is great - for the prints I make. PLA of this brand and color prints at 225d and 50d and no fan for thin wall prints. 3dLabPrint RC airplane parts are large, thin-walled parts. Of the 6 brands of PLA, this and PLA-Pro Overture are the only two brands that give me consistent print quality on these complex parts. Some of the parts are quite flexible in the open panels but work great with the designed supports inside. This variety - with moderate bending - had no…
