Review on πŸ”§ πŸ’ͺ Optimizing Strength with CC3D Filament Printing Material: A Guide to Maximize Results by Derek Helvie

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good polylactide for 3D printing. Thread

The price for the print quality is great - for the prints I make. PLA of this brand and color prints at 225d and 50d and no fan for thin wall prints. 3dLabPrint RC airplane parts are large, thin-walled parts. Of the 6 brands of PLA, this and PLA-Pro Overture are the only two brands that give me consistent print quality on these complex parts. Some of the parts are quite flexible in the open panels but work great with the designed supports inside. This variety - with moderate bending - had no holes breaking in thin walls. SUN PLA printed well but cracked constantly and the walls broke when flexed. I haven't printed any block elements with this PLA, but I suspect it will perform better than just acceptably. while typing it sticks to the Ender Magnetic Printing Mat like glue. I know it will print large areas very well as it won't let go of the bed on its own. if it were a 10 star rating; I would rate this PLA brand a 9 out of 10 for the quality of the material and prints and an 8.5 out of 10 for the value of up to $22/kg with free shipping.
