I bought this to put in my iMac 27" 2017 and connect it to the NVMe USB C Thunderbolt adapter to Files to transfer through migration. HOLY COW, even on the surface my macOS runs insanely faster than my bundled Fusion setup. So fast and without delay that I was too lazy to set 4 hours correctly. rzunimag.
