Need a replacement for my 5 year old GE 11242 which I had in a long hallway for years (lights up at 20 - 25 ft) , but gave it to my aunt who needed it fast so I bought it expecting the same GE value and it is! Looks sleek and thin against the wall and doesn't shine too brightly in my face at night when you need to enter the hallway, and it also has a night light function that boosts the light when the motion sensor detects motion if you need that too. I prefer the motion sensor to just be off and not show up under the bedroom door where I have it. Additionally, this position prevents it from being constantly triggered when entering the hallway facing the main living/kitchen areas with constant traffic. I hope this one lasts as many years as the other but if not you can bet I will update my review. I also bought a bronze with a different design for the main living room of the house for our night owls that has a more traditional flourish design.
