I see a lot of complaints about this product and would like to share my five cents. Some people say it blocks PoE. I currently use mine to install a PoE security camera because, like a dummy, I made my cables about 10 feet shorter and only realized this after running the wires through the walls. They work great for this application. The other issue I complain about is that they hold the butts. I've noticed that they don't give that nice "click" that some connectors do, but they still seem to offer security. However, when laying the cable I used new quality ends. Perhaps the quality or previous use at the ends of the cable could make a difference, but not from what I could see. Either way, they work great and I'm glad I found them.
