I can't believe how much better the car starts (I thought my starter had a bad starter for 3 years Seat ) Now it starts on 1 try every time. Installing all three coils took 10 minutes. Last week driving out of town the car also spattered about 8 times (the dealer's service tech told me it could be the coils). I thought the fuel pump or torque converter was bad, so I came home and drove. another car back 30 miles. The next day I added alcohol to the gas if there was water and for the next couple of days I kept "testing" (bottom gas to see if it "stuttered" again and it always does) , it didn't. Since I changed the coils I may have fixed 2 issues for $30. a week later i found out that the "stuttering" was a slipping of the old cables. Therefore, it is better to replace the candles and wires at the same time (last year I did candles).
