This thing froze, went dark and lost my information since the first time I used it. problems.

3/20/21: So I got this directly from HP. I set it up and the first time I tried to print with it it crashed. Mouse, keyboard, nothing I moved didn't respond on screen. I had to use the keyboard to turn the device off and get it running again, but I'm very concerned as it's been 30 days since purchase (didn't open it right away) and HP won't give me a return. I've been on the phone with them for an hour now. Update 3/30/21: HP ran the diagnostics and everything is fine. Some time later I'm typing on this laptop when it suddenly goes blank and then the screen lights up again (battery not dead). I've also had mini typing freezes, freezes where the computer stops typing for a second while my fingers are still typing, then tries to catch up, sometimes skipping letters at the beginning of words. The mouse pad is difficult to maneuver - you have to press hard. Otherwise, the thing is light and pleasant to look at. Which doesn't help me much if I can't be confident that my information is protected. HP refuses to give me a new laptop even though I've only just started using it and I have to send it back for repair which probably won't fix anything (according to my experienced programmer) and will lose all installed programs meaning that I need to send them back to my programmer for reinstallation. That's ridiculous.
