First off, these were designed for peloton bikes. These were purchased so my partner could use the same shoes for spin classes and spinning at home. We purchased these because it’s damn near impossible to find pedals that support the Delta cleat that Loom developed in the early 80’s and ditched in the later 90’s.Are they bad for spinning.no. If you’re not already using road pedals (Time, Look KEO, speed play) you probably won’t know any better. If you do use those other pedals, you’ll notice that the float is limited and not smooth. She noticed this, but also realized that the stupid Delta (ARC) pedal cleat is what all these spin classes have.At $110, they are far from being worth the price. You can get decent enough Look KEO pedals for half with smoother float.
