Review on 🔗 Jumbo Quartz Command Hook - Model 17088Q ES by Chris Wheeler

I am obsessed with 3M Command products and use them throughout my home. I rent an apartment and live in an old house with stucco walls which makes hanging stuff a big problem. And a complete revelation: I *know* it's not a great solution, but if you're desperate, you're ready to try anything :) I use these giant slate hooks in my bedroom to hold the curtain rod! You need a fairly thin bar to sit securely in the hook area - the one I bought was from IKEA and works great. I wish they had made these giant hooks in a style that didn't look like it. Warehouse but honestly I'm so grateful to them that I'll take what I can get. Excellent quality rods, reliable and I will buy again. will work with these hooks. In my bedroom I use an IKEA REKA 3/4" curtain rod. It fits easily into the Command hooks. I also used this solution in my living room (see second photo attached - don't judge me). just renovated ha !), but as this pole was much longer I used 3 hooks to attach it. For my living room I used Target's Threshold™ Industrial Cage which sits a bit higher in the hook. What is very important is that there aren't many grommets work with these hooks as they sit so close to the wall I was disappointed that the nice round grommets that came with my set of Target rods didn't work - they were too big The overlays I have got it from IKEA but worked - they were a lot smaller and lay flat/flush with the wall Edit 2/24/17: I've attached a new picture - a few months later they're still going strong and are holding up with no problems. :)
