This hat is heavy and beautifully made, we live in Wyoming and it will keep my son's ears nice and warm! The fabric stretches enough to be snug and not too loose like some other hats like this one I've bought in the past. I am very satisfied with the purchase and the quality of the product.

- The ear cups may not stay in place during active winter activities, leaving your ears open to cold air and wind.
