Our main goal with this router was to provide a portable internet connection for the events we travel to. With Verizon LG VL600 4G LTE USB Modem, after updating the firmware on the modem to the latest version and downloading the 4G USB firmware on the modem and doing the initial setup, the router works very stably. Just plug in and go, connect to a power source, plug in the USB modem and wait for the modem to connect and then the router takes over! The only problem I had with the router was that every time for a while it was like the USB went to sleep or something and the router would throw a no WAN error when trying to access the internet connection indicated. I solved it with the following two steps: 1) Enable "Aggressive Modem Reset" 2) Enable "Check Connection" 3) Enable "Ping on Idle" and enter a known IP address into the ping target. These steps basically cause the router to check the internet connection and reset it if something goes wrong with the USB tethering. After using these settings, I was able to turn off the router, leave it unplugged for a few days, and then just plug in the power and modem and it starts up automatically again. Very satisfied. Not the best documentation, but if you spend some time setting up the router and getting it up and running properly, it does the job well. On the other hand, the new MBR1400 with the same settings gives me a lot of problems that I haven't been able to figure out yet. Stick with the MBR1200 if you're using Verizon's LG VL600 for 3G or 4G.
