Easy installation is good for routers

The router almost installed itself and is working perfectly. I am using WIN7 64 bit. Verizon LG broadband modem. Two ethernet computers and WIFI laptop. I plugged in the USB modem, power cord, and Ethernet cables, turned the device on, and was instantly connected to the internet. You need to log into your account on the manufacturer's website and create a username and password for everything to work. Just follow the included instructions. The user manual contains basic information about the…

Broken device, crappy support

I bought one of these as a failover for our MPLS network. Bought in August 2010 and today was the first time I had to use it. Unfortunately this will not work. None of the setting changes are retained after a reboot. And the default setting requires a user login. For devices without a web browser, e.g. B. a credit card terminal, this does not work. Long story short, after over an hour of support chat (just try to find a phone number to call), email with receipt, typing serial number and MAC…

Pros
  • Gigabit Ethernet ports

Works as advertised but no documentation

If you're familiar with wireless networks and routers, you should be able to get this little device up and running with ease . However, if this is your first router, chances are you're going to have a really hard time. The device comes with a two-page quick start guide. Even a CD like Linksys doesn't do that. If you still have internet access, you'll find that the exact same quick start guide is the only official documentation on the Cradlepoint home page. The homepage also has an FAQ section…

Computer and Accessory Security

I thought I was investing in a solid setup, but this unit got me my first review in years. After a few hours of use, it loses internet connection via the broadband modem, but wireless devices still work. Connected. The router side can't be accessed to reset or figure out what's wrong, only the trip to unplug works and the logs don't say anything of course. the answers are all he gets. I will use it for target practice. If you only have access to a cellular modem, you may need to go this route…

Pros
  • The firewall supports Network Address Translation (NAT) and Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI) to prevent DoS attacks.
Cons

Amazing for Verizon 4G service

Our main goal with this router was to provide a portable internet connection for the events we travel to. With Verizon LG VL600 4G LTE USB Modem, after updating the firmware on the modem to the latest version and downloading the 4G USB firmware on the modem and doing the initial setup, the router works very stably. Just plug in and go, connect to a power source, plug in the USB modem and wait for the modem to connect and then the router takes over! The only problem I had with the router was…

Pros
  • WiFi sharing with 64 people
Cons
  • Some little things

Very happy with networking products

This router is stylish. It is multifunctional and stable. It is as flexible as possible towards mobile network providers and device manufacturers. For example, it supports 3G, 4G, and LTE devices from ATT, Verizon, etc. Check the manufacturer's website for specific supported devices. One of the downsides is that it has 150 Mbps Wi-Fi instead of 300. It's not a problem for me, although 300 would be nice. The wired Gigabit function was more important in my case. Easily recommended.

Pros
  • Over 260 yards (780 feet) Wi-Fi range
Cons
  • Protection
