If there was a police device, I would be arrested. This was the first activated carbon filter change we have done in the last 2 years. To replace it: 1) Remove the Phillips head screw on the top of the microwave, front left (you'll probably need a step stool to see it properly). 2) Open the microwave oven door and slide the inner top black plastic vent cover to the left. 3) The breather housing is now raised. 4) Pull out the old activated carbon filter by lifting it from below. 5) Assemble in reverse order! It looks like a direct replacement for our LG LMH2235ST in the microwave range. It should probably be changed more often, for example twice a year.
