Replaced the original microwave filter in the house we bought. The original filter was completely clogged with grease and fell apart. Was in a year. It does its job, collects fat. It was tight and the filter material was a little different than the original, but it works and that's the main thing.

I bought it for my Kenmore Elite 72180823500. To see if the model is right for you go to searspartsdirect. com to find out. It was exactly the same model as the OEM. Markings and labels around the frame are the same as the factory ones. Perfect fit with no problems. Pretty quick delivery even though it wasn't Premier.

Installation: Open when Model LG LVM2031BD the door, unscrew a small Phillips screw at the top of the box, slide the black plastic cover to the left and gently lift it towards you. The filter slides out from the bottom. Notice how it sits on two metal bars. In Reinstall in reverse order and reinsert screw.

I ordered this LG filter for my Kenmore Elite Microwave (Model # 721.88513900, manufactured April 2010) Exact dimensions of this LG filter: 11" x 2-5 /8" x 3/ 4 inches thick. I didn't buy the microwave new, it was installed in the house we bought. When I removed the old filter it was the exact same product, part numbers etc as this new LG but I can't find out if it was original equipment. This new one seems to fit, but is about 3/8" shorter than size 11, so I suspect the original equipment…

First of all, this filter replaces the filter in our Kenmore microwave oven. It's listed on the Sears website for almost $25. Revain didn't show any results for Kenmore filters, so I looked through the available filters to find a similar one. When I saw it, it looked the same.
