Great price, solid bright 1080p projector with no frills

Well I've been writing a review for a long time and accidentally lost it trying to drag the image into the picture. Here, too, you get a fairly bright projector for the money. It holds up in daylight when the curtain is drawn. You can see I can put two tinted lamps next to it and it still looks great. Black levels lose some contrast/grey compared to a regular TV, but that's to be expected. The software is adequate, I don't think the audio settings make a difference based on my testing with headphones. The internal speaker is surprisingly functional, works on the go and gets the job done. Nothing I want to use regularly. Keystone correction only affects tilt, so you'll need to make sure it's set straight when you do this. Focus works without problems. Just make sure you measure correctly when mounting the screen - image size should only be controlled by physical movement. You have the option to resize the image in the software, but it's not the best alternative. Mine arrived with visible fingerprints on the lens when you turned the device on (not visible on the screen). An attempt to clean them with a microfiber cloth revealed that they were inside the lens barrel on the back or in the image itself. I have to take the unit apart to clean it properly and I'm not sure if that gives me access to remove it. QA could do some work here. The images here are from a 100 inch screen projected onto a wall, which works great but looks better once I install the screen. In general, I am satisfied with the purchase, fingerprints are annoying.
