Review on πŸ₯’ Efficient Farberware Handheld Mandoline Slicer for Fruits and Vegetables, Green by Shannon Judd

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I'm glad I waited to find the right mandolin.

I hesitated for a long time about buying a mandolin, even though I knew I really wanted one. I may be a clumsy person and I'm afraid that I might hurt myself because of it. As expected from Farberware, it appears to be very well constructed and designed with safety in mind. So far I find I have a bit of a learning curve but I love it. It does an excellent job of cutting most vegetables and fruits evenly and quickly. The first cut tends not to be as even, and the last cut is almost twice as high. The peel does not always cut well. At first I did not understand that the upper part of the shield is marked with raised clear letters. I find the shield useless until I get to a fairly low height/length, but then I'm grateful it's there, so it's a mixed blessing, but I'll be safe every day. I'm a little concerned about the best way to store it and still use the box, but I know it won't be practical in the long run. The extra blades are very well packaged in durable boxes, for which I am grateful. I'm glad I waited to find the right mandolin before I got it. Thank you for reading my review. I hope you found this helpful.
