They hold standard size CDs. They don't stack.
I like the size and weight. They are strong enough to last for many years. You can easily read the disc labels from the top. The only thing that would improve the product would be if they were a bit taller so they could be stacked. Of course they sit on top of each other, but there are no grooves for each additional box to fit. I could buy plastic boxes at Walmart to do the same thing for less than $4 each, but they're not that attractive. They will not fit oversized digipak CDs you may have in your collection.
