Review on TYPE S Portable Bluetooth Mirror with Solar Powered License Plate Backup Camera: Extra Wide 160° View in 720P for Car, Truck, SUV, Camper - Wireless Button Control & Split-Screen Features by Freddy Hammonds

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I didn't even know there was such a thing!

I followed the instructions which were clear and the whole process took maybe 15 minutes. The only cable I had to run was from the mirror to the accessory port on the front. It says how to route the wire so it can be hidden, but that's the only wire. My 2011 Honda CRV didn't have a backup camera and I figured the only way to get one was to run some wires from one end of my car to the other. I never knew such a thing existed. This has been the best find so far and I love using it! Now my car can be as beautiful as these new models and I can reverse with more confidence and confidence. The mirror's touchscreen is a nice feature, as is the little button to wake it up from standby.

Pros
  • Unique split-screen mode - add an optional TYPE S camera to the front of the car and pair it with a rear-view camera in the mirror; Be extra careful, not only look behind your car, but also in front. The rear view mirror monitor shows both cameras side by side in split screen mode so you can see everything clearly at once.
Cons
  • Long time
