Many desserts like meringue, pavlova, and macaroons require a lot of protein. Not only does this gadget work as intended, it doesn't get dirty and is easy to clean (I love anything you can just throw in the dishwasher). I also think this product will also save you time if you have a lot of eggs to crack. This egg separator is also well designed. The product easily attaches to the shells and the long rubber handle prevents slipping. This pauses the product allowing the egg whites to separate quickly, although I found I had to shake it a bit to get the egg whites to separate completely. Overall this is a great product, especially for the serious baker or people (like me) who just love protein omelettes.
