Review on Top Performing Kymate FT 857D FT 897D Kenwood TS 430S: A Comprehensive Product Review by Joshua Garris

Received a 30A 6 pin DC power cord and immediately found the wires were weak. Also, one of the wires was not soldered. I decided to add some shrink wrap for support and strength, fixed a wire and checked all the other connections. It turned out to be the only unconnected cable. During this process I noticed that the wires were clearly marked "16 AWG" and not 12 AWG as advertised. Once again they sent me another product from China that did NOT match what was declared! Both China and Amazon seem to have very poor quality control issues. If they both want to get a better rating and, perhaps more importantly, want to keep me as a regular customer, they should work harder on quality control. I wonder how many other customers have this problem? I'm keeping this product as it's not worth sending back. Buying from a more reputable company and paying a little more looks better to me!
