Review on 🌈 Antec Spark Series 120mm RGB Fans - High Performance PC Fan, 3 Packs by Eric Williamson

Running 12 of these fans (push-pull on radar, the other 3 not visible) on Lian-Li O11-D. Yes, all white O11D, I'm very original. For the price they are absolutely great! Just be aware of your limitations. - They are only RGB. NOT ARGB. This means that you can only set ONE COLOR for the entire chain. If you set it to blue, everything in that chain will be blue. Etc. I don't really care because I just wanted to know. But if you're expecting unicorn rainbow strobe puke, these aren't the fans for you. White (255, 255, 255) is very blue and blue shifts everything on the color spectrum. If you use white, adjust the fan color slightly towards a dull red (think tomato soup with lots of milk). I chose something around 240, 160, 160 and that gave me the white color you see here. You can still get the color you want, you just have to play around with it a little. Cable routing can be a mess. Each fan features a 4-pin PWM fan header and a 4-pin RGB header, each approximately 1.5 to 2 inches long. If you chain the fans and use PWM splitters (mandatory for so many fans) it means you have 3-4 feet of cables for each fan. I have 12 of these, so count yourself! - Daisy chaining works great but be aware of the limitations of your mobo. I was able to chain 6, but a little more, and the fans at the end of the chain dimmed noticeably. Also, they're really good fans. The price is right, they look great, their SP/Airflow rating is close to the Kraken X73 fans I've bought, and they're very, very quiet at low loads (you can't hear them below 1000 RPM ). They make noise at full load, but that's to be expected, and these fans move A LOT of air at full speed. As long as you know what you're buying, these fans are pretty good. I would give them 5 stars but the colors are nowhere near the same so I'm deducting a star because I don't mix well with my other RGB gear.
