Works great as a G1100 replacement. This saves me $10/month renting from Frontier Fios in Florida (100/100). I had to buy an Arris MEB1100 ethernet bridge adapter (about $25). The bridge I bought new comes with a USB cable to power it from the router. I connected the coaxial cable from the wall (ONT) to the adapter and then connected the ethernet from the adapter to the red ethernet port on the router's ONT. That's it, I didn't use a splitter but all I have is internet, no TV or phone. Frontier may also need to register the device to your account, but that's no big deal.
