this is good: Fish & Aquatic Pets

decent food but my turtles prefer other foods. They leave some in the tank even though I rarely feed them. doesn't have to be very good.

Pros

Tony the turtle loves it

My red eared baby Tony ate this and he is very picky about his food. It contains healthy ingredients, no fillers. This is a good little tablet for a kid. The price is great. Overall I am very impressed with this nutritious, healthy and affordable meal for Tony and I know he loves it.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Vulgarity

PERFECT FOR MY RED SLIPPERS

My turtles love it! I also noticed a significant change in their growth rate. I'm not sure if it's because of these balls or not. Has many good ingredients for your turtles. Almost all the nutrients they need. Have tried several other brands of pellets but keep coming back and buying this one again!

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons
  • Operating speed

But my turtle loves it.

I have a musk turtle and he loves it! The only thing is that the pellets might be too big for toddlers as my little squirtle sometimes has a hard time tearing them up enough to fit in his mouth. So keep that in mind. (I usually help him out when I see he's in trouble.) Other than that, it's a great product at a great price.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Some little things

Ideal for mapping turtles

I feed my mapping turtles this size pellet because they have trouble eating regular small turtle pellets. When I fed regular sized pellets my sea turtles spat them out due to the size. These tiny pellets work great, making sure they eat enough to stay alive. I would also recommend this brand. Fast shipping and reorder from this company.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

Big tiny size for little turtles! ๐Ÿข

I decided to try these foods after looking for small pellets for my picky RES baby (he's only about 1.5 inches tall). They are cute and tiny, I just water them before feeding him. My little YBS (4 inch) likes them too but they are small for him, he eats them anyway but has a hard time finding them at first go. Overall they are great for little turtles! The ingredients seem decent and they smell like seafood so turtles like them ๐Ÿข

Better for babies/clouds in the water

Size is the biggest downside of this food. This is best for 3 inch or smaller turtles. While larger turtles will eat it, the small pellets tend to disperse in the water and are difficult to find unless the water surface is large enough to accommodate the pellets. Granules are slightly larger than a pinhead (see photo). The ingredient list sounds good, which is why I feed it to my kids. But I dry feed this product in a bowl so my young turtles can easily find the pellets. They float, but likeโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Almost everything is ok

Great food 10 out of 10, will buy again

Every morning at 8am. My turtle swims to the corn in his aquarium. Awaiting the blessing of their mechanical food god. Which seems incredibly punctual, albeit inconsistent at times. But this is another story. But Terrence waits, his feet moving at a thousand miles an hour as he treads water. His world is slowly being illuminated by his mechanical overlord. At 8:15 a.m. Terrence's excitement rises sharply as the soft squeak of plastic gears and a small electric motor comes to life. A shower ofโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Hard to say

Ideal for finicky turtles.

Finding a turtle's staple diet can be a real challenge. Some experts advise using hard love and only feeding pellets. In this case, the turtle will eventually eat them. Others suggest soaking turtle pellets in tuna water to make them smell better. After trying many brands (Reptomin, Nutrafin, Jurassic Diet) I finally came across Omega One Turtle Granules. My Midland Painted Turtle loved them immediately. The only other pellet he will eat is Mazuri but he definitely prefers the Omega 1 pelletโ€ฆ

Pros
  • An Absolute Legend
Cons
  • High Price
