I really wanted this product to be liked. It downloads the OBS Studio screen recording software onto your computer and essentially your show will play on the computer while the software records your screen. If you're trying to get content from your DVR and have that kind of time, no problem, but I think you can get better results if you record from a connected DVD player. I have returned this item.
