I like the brightness, it really lights up my storage room much much better than a regular incandescent or LED regular sized bulb. But …. It triggers on through a closed door and I am not sure I like that. The light is about 8 feet inside the door of my storage room which is accessed through my laundry room. The door to the storage room is about 10 feet through the laundry room. I noticed today that every time I walk by the door to my laundry room that the light behind a closed door in the storage room activates. The light is so bright that I see the light coming through the edges of the door. This activation triggers from about 18 feet away and through a closed door. Now I am wondering if it is also triggering as there is movement in other rooms adjacent to the room that it is in through solid walls. I find myself trying to sneak up on the light to see if it frequently on and I haven’t quite figured out how to sneak up on it without potentially triggering it through a wall. I read that this senses motion through walls and I just thought it was a bold and mostly incorrect marketing statement bragging about motion sensitivity. I now know that it is true.
