I bought this to use with my Blue Yeti mic and while I could see my sound improving I had trouble placing the mic comfortably. I did not rate the mount for this reason. I tried unscrewing the shock from my hand and the gold mic screw (that came with my hand to connect my mic) is now glued to the shock and can't be unscrewed. get it out Now that my current arm is useless because I don't have a screw to connect the mic, I need to buy another arm. I'll be returning it (with my gold screw still attached) and probably won't get another one. Sometimes it's annoying when your mic is recording that you accidentally hit the mic button, which is the purpose of a product like this. I was unlucky and would rather have what I had before than what I have now. The product itself is very durable. I liked it in the mount. However, it wobbled a bit, which explains my assessment of durability. The value is really subjective depending on what you want. I don't think that's valuable to me, but that doesn't mean you and I will experience the same thing.
