Review on ESUN PLA PRO (PLA ) 3D Printer Filament by Jamal Edwards

Revainrating 1 out of 5

They have degraded quality control and are not responsive to customer requests.

I've bought over 30 spools of this black yarn and it was the "used to be" the best. I've printed all my products with it, bought roll by roll, and my printers have adjusted flawlessly to this filament. Unfortunately, something must have happened in their factory where the filament became contaminated. I've attached a photo to show the problem. It looks like moisture, but it isn't. I've had buns in the dehydrator for 5, 10, 25, and 48 hours! with no success in improving print quality. You can see it's so bad in the picture that it seems like I'm having a random look, but I assure you the tone behind all my prints is on point. The only thing I can think about is pollution. I'm pretty sure I have over 1000 hours of print time and 4 separate 3D printers so I'm pretty sure I know what I'm doing. I do this professionally now. I've had a random coil with no problems and I can swap them out and the dots go away. Put another reel in and it's riddled with bugs. Converted to hatchbox, no defects. I'm 99% sure esun's quality control has gone downhill. In the last 3 months I accidentally bought a couple of rolls hoping they would solve this problem but sadly they didn't. I emailed their customer service which was on a card in the box but they never responded. I spent a few hundred on bad reels hoping it would fix the problem but no luck. Thanks for a great run, but it looks like it's over.
