This device is both an encoder and a decoder and switching between the two is very easy. The IP address software only works on a PC, but once you have the IP address you can configure the camera from any web browser. However, the web video preview only works on PC. I haven't tried the dynamic DNS option, but it works great with a static IP, eliminating the need for IP lookup software. The power cords were just a fraction of an inch shorter so they didn't get stuck in the connector. It was just a matter of stripping a little more insulation from the wires so they could snap into place.
