This Type-C port hub is great considering the price. Everything from build quality to functionality is great. I tested the ports on the hubs and found them to work fine. I had a USB 3.0 stick and an SD card connected to my phone at the same time and the device read very well. The system operating system (PC, PHONE) reads the drive as separate drives (USB DRIVES) and allows you to view the contents individually. I also tested the HDMI port on this device and was able to successfully display my phone's content on the TV screen. A NOTICE. Functionality also depends on your host device connected to a hub. EXAMPLE = Your device may not support multiple devices connected as a hub or may not be HDMI certified for display connection. Assuming your host devices are compatible. (You should be fine in most cases) I recommend this USB-C hub if you want to mirror your display via HDMI or need additional ports for your system, or just as an OTG drive. Works perfectly.
