The mounts themselves are good. They are clearly very durable and fairly easy to install. It should be noted that you must install it so that the bracket's mount is ABOVE the screws, otherwise the black edge of the bracket will protrude a little over the floating shelf, destroying the illusion of levitation. The bigger issue I had was the brackets are just as good as the wall anchors and we tried 8 of the 12 anchors that came with the brackets and all 8 were faulty. The first set you see damaged our drywall by blowing up a large area, the second set on the other side of the same shelf you can see just needs to be pulled straight out of the wall - they were flush with the wall before the shelf was mounted in. on the. In the end we just added extra supports under this shelf. The second shelf we tried to install had the same problem - all 4 anchors were about to break out of the wall so we didn't put the full weight of the shelf on them when we started noticing stress in the drywall. We unscrewed the brace and pryed the dowels back out of the wall with a screwdriver (not possible with dowels that actually work properly) and they came out with no problems. We bought new wall anchors and tried again and the shelves are now holding up and looking great. All in all I am disappointed with this company. I have a major wall renovation due to poor anchors and we were unable to place the shelves where I really wanted them due to the damage caused to the drywall by the defective anchors. So my advice is: by all means, enjoy the mounts, but get some solid wall anchors first.
