I wanted to try SHOCK TREATMENT and see what it does. I don't have easy access to my septic tank so I made a very small tank instead. I put 1 large teaspoon of bacon grease (which will never end up in my septic tank), eggshells, 1 teaspoon of salsa, 4 squares of single-ply toilet paper, and 4 squares of triple-ply toilet paper in a plastic container of water. and a cap of shock therapy. I photographed the container along with the date and military time over the course of a few days. I didn't shake the jar thinking the toilet paper might tear. In general, I've seen items break within a few days. Bacon and salsa will look like they're about to fall apart or tear. The inside of the eggshell is blue, the color of shock therapy. In hindsight, I should have had a controlled sample of the same ingredients with just water. When I poured the shock treatment down the toilet, I felt nothing. It looks like blue color when I water it. It splashed a little so make sure you pour it very close to the water to avoid splashing. I then rinsed the water out but the water still had a blue tinge to it so I rinsed a second time and the water was clear. I tried to choose the toilet that was farthest from the septic tank (or the PVC pipe coming out of the house) because I figured it might clean whatever had built up in the pipes. I usually do a regular septic tank treatment every 3 months but I thought this product could make it even better. I find it important to take care of a septic tank and I usually empty it every 4-5 years and have never had a problem so the bacteria should be working. I also think it's cheaper to have a septic tank and take care of it than it was when I was paying the water company a monthly sewage bill.
