The 4k resolution is great, the colors are really amazing and the brightness is pretty darn good. Navigating through settings and menus is a good way to manage. 1.4 Displayport like RTX graphics cards. Using a Thunderport DP cable, I can get 144Hz HDR 4K from my m1 MacBook Air. Using it on my GTX 1080 ti is not ideal. Basically, I get 95Hz HDR up to 4k with DP. I think the pixel response time is mediocre for high-end gaming. Sure, it's better than a bunch of crap, but motion blur is still with us, and like all other monitors, they lie when they claim a 1ms pixel response time. It's excellent resolution, color and brightness with reasonable motion clarity. Zones can be fun when you're on a plain black screen and moving your mouse, or have a light text or logo box or two on the screen. You can literally see these huge spotlights glowing around the edges to illuminate these huge blackout areas. You can turn off local dimming, but don't give up on HDR, it's truly amazing color and range. how obviously bad for these backlight zones. The gaming LED on the back is nice and easy to turn off too. It's nice if you let it react to the content on the screen.
