Review on UV-Blocking Sun Shade Sail For Outdoor Patio, Garden, Pergola, Gazebo, And Deck - Customizable Size, Heavy Duty 180GSM Material, Ideal For Playground, Preschool: TANG Sunshades Depot by Albert Lee

Surprising strong best in my review

I have a west-facing deck and in the past used a stand-alone canopy to keep the sun off. After a couple of years the wind shredded the canopy cover, which was expensive to replace, so I decided to attach a couple of posts to my deck and try this shade sail out instead. (My total cost for the materials was about $80 for the hardware, posts and sail) And I have to say I much prefer this to the canopy, (much easier to put up/take down) even if you don't get quite as good of shade due to the curved edges. And I'm very impressed with the strength of the sail. The turnbuckles have failed a couple of times during heavy winds, but the sail still looks perfect.

Pros
  • Nice shade but doesn't block all light.
Cons
  • The shade sail is only effective at blocking UV rays in a limited area, making it unsuitable for larger spaces
