I wanted a really good tape measure. engraved markings that didn't rub off so I could read them easily. The engravings aren't very "deep" - I don't expect them to hold up as well as I expected. But the real disappointment was how the handle of the 1-cup measure actually bent when I scooped out the soft-packed brown sugar (replaced in the canister, so not tamped down). He jumped back, but imagine my surprise when I felt him bend in my hand! For those considering this set. I would suggest looking elsewhere. Not worth the money. Very disappointed after waiting so long to finally get them on the void.
