If your Jeep Wrangler looks like you're driving drunk or herding cats on the road when you're climbing hills, this is the solution. I've tried everything else including an oversized steering gear. Constant wandering and inconsistent steering is caused by your caster failing. I bought a digital protractor and adjusted the distance between 6 degrees as close to a 5 degree lag as possible. I started with 3 degree caster before I bought this drop and was able to set 4 degree caster with a pipe wrench and jack. It helped, but I still had strong hikes. After installing this kit, I changed the pivot point until I could achieve about 5 degrees of caster. Now my JK rides as it should, no longer wanders, and this also helped the geometry soften the ride and bring it back to a stock feel. I really like my PSC for the extra power to steer, but it didn't fix the dreaded wobbling back and forth, like a ping pong ball bouncing between lines. This is a fix for wandering steering. For best results, ensure the caster angle is approximately 5-6 degrees. 1 degree makes a big difference.
