Coax cables have been tagged. Instead of plugging in a cable/air signal and then running upstairs to see if the signal is getting through and repeating it and/or calling someone on their cell phone who keeps saying "nothing yet", I just have this bought and screwed the receivers so that the plugs were open, went to the distribution point and connected the signal transmitter and was able to label all the lines. It worked perfectly. I know I could do it with an option, but for the extra $12 I probably saved a few hours. Great tool.
