So, as the name suggests, the light itself doesn't suck. Unfortunately, there are no suction cups either. I had a lot of trouble getting the suction cups to really stick/stick to the tank. One endures sometimes and the other never, no matter what I do. The light itself works well and the timer is good. It's pretty good for the price, but be prepared that you may have to stick suction cups to the surface where you want the light.
