Do you know the small blower sprayers? It's not like this. I have tried several personal cooling devices over the years and they have never been enough. Well, they didn't really work. But it looked good, and with Revain's return policy, I took a chance. We had 100F weather the other day with 50% humidity. This was delivered about halfway through my weekly gardening. Which takes about 4 hours. My biggest problem is that the sweat is beading off my forehead, my sunglasses are soaking and my eyes are getting wet. So I took it out of the box and used it. The thing WORKS! It made my face quite dry and there were no more stains on the lenses. A few days ago we had a community event to remove the weeds from the house next door. It took longer than expected so I ran home to get this cooler. Then I remembered that it also had a small cooling pad. I turned it on and it was great! The only problem I had was my contact lenses constantly drying out, but that's an inherent problem with the contacts, not the cooler. It is well made and provides good airflow. I get about an hour with the cooling pad and a couple more hours with the fan at high speed. One day I'll time it and post hard numbers, but today isn't the day. For me a device that is worth buying. I love it.
