I had an issue where my key fob sometimes fell off. It's like sitting in a car, getting out and the key fob is on my seat. Or you try to get into the house and the key fob falls off the keys. Only happened twice but enough to scare me, what if? I didn't want to lose it somewhere or fall into something and have to replace it. So I decided to buy these cases and it worked like a charm. If you work with a valet a lot, this might not work for you. Otherwise, since you need to keep keychain and key together, you have to remove the key ring to separate it every time.
