We have a 35 gallon hex tank that is 36" deep and this pipe is great for gravel cleaning and partial water changes water change. No more getting your whole hand wet trying to do it with a short hose. Another tip for those with deep reservoirs: use pliers to move jewelry around. Works great for me and I'm 5ft 2in. The combined height of my stand and tank is 58 inches and I don't even need a stool.
