It does a good job as a compact and quiet desktop fan with moderate airflow. This isn't too noticeable until it turns off and the temperature differential is established. I keep it between my two monitors which fit nicely. I will note that by design it doesn't appear very solid. I use my computer from 4am to 12pm every day and expect this to last until December just because fall is supposed to cool down. bought Aug.
