You get a lot for your money - with issues
100 grit is my usual starting grit for most sanding jobs. These discs hold both hard and soft wood fairly well. The big plus is you get lots of these EDIT: Having used these grinding wheels a lot more, I have to tell you I'm not that happy. Once you remove them from the mill, they don't stay on it anymore - they fly away! I have a nice 5" Bosch with a new velcro disc holder and these grinding discs sand very well but they don't stay on after being removed once after a bit of use.
