The standard OEM third headlight is not compatible with larger tires and is a great option for those wanting to forego the OEM part. I got it for my 2008 JKUR with the swivel tire holder. It fits like a charm... easy to install. LEDs aren't as bright as brake lights...but they're more visible in my opinion. Took me about 10 minutes to install this. I now have a pivoting tire holder so I had to make modifications. I added a nylon strap to prevent the wiring from being pulled out of the third eye if you open the swing arm past the length of the wiring. My last one completely pulled out the wiring, and it was impossible to restore it. So I learned my lesson and for the most part it worked. I broke a couple of nylon straps but the wiring stayed intact. I am aware that this setup is not ideal for this product. But this is what I wanted and it's the best idea I could think of that made sense. The manufacturer grants a 1-year guarantee on this product. I appreciate you taking the time to read this.
