Review on ๐Ÿฅš Brinsea Ovation 56 EX Egg Incubator: Fully Automatic with Humidity Control [One Size] by Lawrence Crespo

My first incubator - Brinsea

Last year I bought 28 EX and hatched 2 batches of chicks and one batch of African guinea fowl. I realized that if I want 20 chickens, I can't do it for 28. HALF OF THEM ARE Hร„NNE. So this year I bought 56 EX. Just received it yesterday. Based on what I learned last year, I traded within an hour. It reached temperature and humidity in 3 hours. Now I will reveal my secrets to you. I live in the arid plains of Colorado. It's dry and windy here, so thank goodness (he guides me in almost everything I do) I bought an EX with automatic humidity control. SECRET: Pull a length of hose from the pump outlet to the center slot in the water pan. This gives a positive flow of water and you get an instant response when the pump turns on. (The water takes too long to flow through the slot.) Otherwise the pump will overcompensate before the control system detects too much moisture. Simply pull out the outlet nipple and put a piece of hose on it. Shake the hose between the caps (make sure it's long enough to reach the center of the water bowl) and insert into the grooves of the water bowl. I've never had a 1 percent change in humidity. Put the extra tube in the freezer, it will keep the tube fresh for next year. You should replace the capstan tube every year. IF YOU LIKE SUCCESS, YOU WILL LOVE BRINSEA.
