I had to undergo chemotherapy for pancreatic cancer which caused all my hair to fall out. This hair loss situation is difficult, especially for women, even though we know that we are going through chemotherapy to save or prolong our lives. A lot of "chemical hats" are that simple - just something to cover a bald head and keep them warm. They don't really help you look trendy. So I decided to try these turban-like hats. I think that you can see from my photo that this style of cap still needs some work in terms of fashion. I might try tucking a piece of fabric or something into the cap to make my head look a bit bigger! Caps are made from a type of polyester material. I don't know how long they will last as I intend to machine wash them. I don't want to delete everything by hand. The material is too thin to keep your bald head warm in the colder months, but might be more comfortable in the warmer months that are hopefully coming soon. Of course, you don't have to be bald to wear them. In fact, they will look better on any woman who actually has hair! I only rate them as average. I don't think I will buy them again. However, they were not expensive in the beginning.
