Maybe she used mascara?
I like this mascara as I bought it from Ulta before but the item I got from Amazon was open ended. Not sure if it has been used but my eyes are sensitive and I don't want to use this mascara if someone else has used it before. Both ends of the box were worn and sealed with duct tape. Fluff stuck to the tape and it was discolored. Disappointed with how my item was received.
